Starke United works with over 70 area organizations throughout Starke County and the surrounding area by providing designated and/or undesignated funds. We do not have a pre-determined list of recipient agencies. Instead, we focus on the most urgent needs of the county as dictated to us through our Needs Assesment Surveys. Of course, we are happy to honor pledges to specific tax-exempt organizations.
As a general rule, Starke United does not direct funds to political causes or to organizations outside of the “mainstream” of charitable activities.Following are some of the organizations we are affiliated with and support. For complete organization information, please contact us directly.
Your donation to Starke United benefited over forty Starke County non-profit agencies last year. These agencies are right here, close to home helping your families, friends, and neighbors. Just imagine what a few more dollars could do. Please pledge to Starke United in the 2010 campaign. Every Starke United Dollar gives a Starke County resident a better life in some way.
