What is CIS?
CIS's goal is to help establish an effective facilitating structure, for enlisting, coordinating and improving the ways in which communities respond to children and families. CIS does this by providing technical assistance, training, the brokering and nationally accessed resources, and by facilitating the flow of information within the network, to help communities "reposition" existing services into schools where access to children and families is easy and comfortable for both providers and clients.
